Why Were These KinderMed Pain And Fever Products Recalled?

On November 13, 2023, KinderFarms, LLC, announced the recall of OTC (over-the-counter) KinderMed pain and fever reliever products for infants and kids due to possible health risks from acetaminophen instability (the primary ingredient is unstable and its actual amount can change in the medication, without any warning). According to the recall advisory, these affected products contain acetaminophen as the active ingredient (as with many other pain-relieving medicines). (1)(2)

However, due to acetaminophen instability, tests on some of the product samples showed that they were no longer in the correct specification. (1)(2)
