FAQs

Does Capri Sun Have Metal In It?

According to Capri Sun, their pouch has a middle layer made of thin aluminum foil (8 micrometers). However, the interior layer that comes in contact with the food product is polyethylene.

Did Capri Sun Have Worms?

In January 2012, a North Carolina boy claimed he found a worm in his Capri Sun drink. Other families also shared a similar experience in 2013. (2)(3)

Capri Sun explained that the worm might have been mold because their products are made without preservatives. When there’s a hole in the pouch, air can get in even if the hole isn’t visible. The presence of air could lead to mold formation. (3)
