I like to consider myself something of a hoppy frood and, as such, I always know where my towel is. That said, some towels are easier to keep track of then others. I received the Shandali UltraSport Travel Towel right before Christmas. As towels go, this one is massively useful.
I requested the medium as it was the largest size available. When it arrived I realized it was too small to be considered a full-sized adult bath towel and too large to pop in my purse. I was a little disappointed as it seemed to be too big to call a travel towel. Then I folded it. The towel, barely thicker than a piece of paper, condenses so well I could easily toss it it my daughters diaper bag. Yet, as thin as it is, the fibers are incredibly densely packed.
Babe was happy to have the towel wrapped around her for warmth early on a cold Christmas morning. It was easily as warm and soft as any of her other baby blankets. Then, shortly after this picture was taken I witnessed it’s superior absorbency power as Babe spit up all over it. I quickly washed it off and was pleasantly surprised to find it completely dry less than an hour later.
And while I don’t expect to find myself sailing a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth or needing to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal, I will definitely be carrying my Shandali UltraSport Travel Towel on Towel Day for years to come. I may even dip it in Bar-B-Q sauce, you know, for when I get sick of wheatgerm.
What do you look for in a towel?
