According to the recall advisory, the rear legs can pivot out of position. It makes the chair unstable, posing a fall hazard to the child in the high chair.
Graco received at least 38 reports of incidents relating to the product’s rear legs, with five children getting bumps and bruises after falling from the high chair. (1)
The recall only applies to model number 1969721, sold exclusively at Walmart stores in the US from October 2016 through December 2017, and at Babies “R” Us Canada from April 2017 to December 2017. (1)(2)
