I bought this for therapeutic purposes and wasn't expecting much as far as scent b/c I don't particularly like the smell of cedarwood and had heard that sandalwood was similar to cedarwood. Well, I can see how it's similar in some ways, but I absolutely love the smell of sandalwood. It is so grounding, and the smell, to me, is like a manly version of lavender (if that makes any sense). Highly recommend!

I found that compared to other essential oils the organic variation is more potent; therefore, I use the recommended amount of drops, unlike other non-organic essential oils which I have to use 5 times the recommended amount of drops. I am in love with the scent of this sandalwood in my home.

I love this Sandalwood! The scent is amazing (my husband loves it too). It has worked wonders for my adult acne and has made my skin incredibly soft and smooth. Most sandalwood oils are extremely costly, but the price is so reasonable here, especially for such a good quality, organic product.

I cannot get over how much we love this EO. It's so versatile and great with so many combinations of other oils. We diffuse it, mixed it to our carrier oils for fragrances. We blended it with bergamot and Vetiver and the result is divine! We are so precious with it since it's so expensive but it's a luxury that we look forward to continue with.

Sandalwood is one of those oils that stays in my stash. Just one drop rounds out many blends perfectly! I love to use this in my diffuser at night, in the hair oil blend (thanks PT), and well just because! I use just a little as I know this is a precious oil! Always Smells Amazing!

I enjoy the quality products made by plant therapy. No chemicals. I will continue to purchase this brand. The Australian Sandalwood is slightly more woodsy in comparison to previous brands, but is still delightful & I enjoy it. A little goes a long way

Great brand

I have suffered from Interstitial Cystitis (I.C.) my entire life. I.C. sufferers are said to have pain equivalent to that of a cancer patient just to give you an idea of how painful it is. I have had my share of doctors specialists tests and prescription medications. 6 years ago I was offered Botox injections as a treatment option and if that didnt work removal of my bladder. I walked out of that doctors office and have been dealing with I.C. on my own since. My I.C. symptoms are PAIN before during and after urination (and no this is not a U.T.I. were talking about) urgency to go needing to go more than 15+ times a day and spasms. This has been 6 very long years of trying to figure out how I can help myself get my I.C. under control. Ive but myself on the I.C. diet and all though that helps a little Im still having to deal with the constant pain urgency and spasms. I recently read that there were a few essential oils that MAY help I.C. sufferers and decided to try them out one at a time. While searching for Sandalwood Essential Oil I discovered the Plant Therapy website! I placed my first order with excitement. Could Sandalwood really help me? I received my package very quickly. That night after showering I mixed coconut oil and Sandalwood oil together and rubbed it onto my lower abdomen. Within a few minutes the spasms and urgency feeling Ive felt for years calmed! Now I hoped the pain I feel with urination would completely go away but it did not. It did however bring my every day pain level 8-9 down to a 6-7! I tell you Ive been on some pretty strong prescription pain killers over the years and they dont touch I.C. pain. But a few drops of this Sandalwood Essential Oil mixed with coconut oil did more for me than any doctor/specialist and his/her prescriptions have done over the years! I will order the other essential oils that are on this list for I.C. sufferers to see if I can get anymore pain relief and also have others to alternate with.

Interstitial Cystitis sufferer

This is a nice oil. The scent is not exactly what I was looking for. I bought from another top rated site and had to return it. This is more pleasant. I buy this particular oil for scent so that is important. The very first bottle I ever bought smelled like heaven (from the above mentioned co.)I have since not been able to find oil like that again. Wondering if I will ever get that true scent again.

So far I have been very pleased with all the organic essential oils I've ordered through Plant Therapy (at least 15 different oils to date)...except for the Sandalwood oil. Sandalwood is one of my all time favorite oils. I love it's deep woodsy scent (and my husband loves the scent on me, which is a bonus!); however, the PT Sandalwood oil lacks the depth of scent I've found in other brands. The scent is very sharp, like strong, pungent fresh cut oak, which is unfortunate. I probably would not recommend their version of Sandalwood oil for that reason.
