If you’re looking for something quick to put together without sacrificing flavor, this is a great option. My husband whipped up this spicy and flavorful peanut sauce that is perfect for summer dishes.
• 3/4 cup natural peanut butter (regular peanut butter has emulsifiers that hold the peanut butter together too well)
• 2 tbsp honey
• 1 tsp Siracha sauce
• 1 tbsp soy sauce or natural amino acid
• 2 tsp rice vinegar
• 1 tsp sesame oil
• 1 tsp red curry paste
• 1 tsp fish sauce
Mix all ingredients except the water in a bowl. Once the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, add water until you reach the desired consistency. (We like to use about 1/3 cup of water but some may like their sauce thicker or thinner than we do.)
That’s it! You now have a versatile sauce which you can use as a salad dressing, dipping sauce, or the final element to an Asian recipe. My favorite thing to do with any Asian sauce is toss it with some Assi Oriental style rice noodles. Just add your favorite meat and/or vegetables and you are ready to go!
