Like every mom I wanted to be able to successfully breast-feed my new baby and with that also have saved breastmilk for any emergencies away from baby or for when the time came for a Baby to be left with the caregiver. I had my baby and quickly discovered that not all pumps are created equally. After receiving my new pump from a Medela I quickly open the box and Sanitize everything and set it up. Set up took me a few seconds and even without having to read the manual everything was self-explanatory. My first impressions of the pump or how small the pump was and how modern everything looked. Using the pump was very new experience seeing it has a very efficient stimulation mode. You can quickly adjust suction on both stimulation mode and expression mode. And you can use it as a single or a double pump. The pump is quiet and I was able to successfully pump from each side a great amount of breastmilk. The settings on the pump are already programmed but I found that easier to use while fumbling with a new baby. The flanges are absolutely wonderful to use and easy on the breast. Taking the pump apart was fast and super easy and I felt like I could clean and sanitize a lot easier than with my other pumps. By far my favorite feature of the Pump in Style Max Flow is the micro vibrations to help your let downs! They mimic baby SO Well! I would definitely recommend this pump to any new mom looking to build a freezer stash. Not to mention they also included a wonderful starter pack with bottles, bottle holder, diaper bag and also a cooler to keep milk cool while on the go. Great pump! I absolutely love the medela pump in style. I'm an exclusively pumping mama, and this is my main pump.

Love this pump!

As a first time mom, this is a great starter pump.  Similar to the medela pumps from the hospital but much more affordable.  I used this is combination with the Elvie stride for on the go pumping.

Excellent pump at an affordable price.

Good, easy to clean. downside - I would prefer a small display for settings.

Medela MaxFlow

For starters this was my pump I chose through my insurance but thankfully I had another in case I didn't like it. The unit can be used as a single or double pump. It's pretty easy to work and figure out. It only comes with 24mm flanges so if that's not what you need you'll have to purchase separately. I love the vibration this pump gives to help you have let downs however,  the suction is not the best. I used this for a few days to be able to give an honest review. When I am having to pump with my secondary pump after using this to fully empty my breasts I am not ok with that. I highly suggest another pump. As you can see in the photo I was able to get my breasts more empty using the spectra pump. I had almost 4oz more from the spectra. Get another pump

Don't waste tour time with this pump!

This item was not new, it was opened and re-boxed. I bought this for a baby shower and was not comfortable giving the gift when it looked like it was used and re-packaged.

Poor

This is my third Medela pump I have gotten through insurance for my wife, the first two worked great but this model we have used 3 times now and all three times milk got back into the tubes so had to throw tubes out and buy new ones.  This happened three times now and most likely got milk in the motor.  Having to constantly buy tubing every single time is a waste of money and you can buy a different pump out of pocket after the 6th replacement.  Never had any issues with the Advanced model.

I ordered a Medela Pump In Style MaxFlow that came in a bundle with other 21 parts. I received just the pump and the cups.  On top of that, the box showed that the item was not to be for retail resale just for insurance purposes.  I returned and ordered again the same item and received the right one but not from this vendor.  I included the pictures of the one I ordered and the one I received and returned.

Shipped wrong item

Doesn't express milk very well. Idk if there's a problem with my pump specifically, but I'm getting more %26 having better luck with pumping by hand, which I bought this in an effort to avoid.
