My lil guy is 2 and I always find him surrounded with books when he's playing and I just LOVE that! SO I found this cute pup that comes with books and it will sit with him and his book! I'm not sure all that it does yet bc it's a Christmas present but I'm really excited to see how he is with his new pup and his lil books!

Storytime Buddy is adorable! My two year old absolutely loves following along with Buddy to the five books that come with him! Her favorite is with Bella the pink poodle! Each story is fun and teaches a good lesson. Bedtime mode is amazing and Buddy will quietly read a story and sing a lullaby that often puts her to sleep. Buddy is soft and cozy and goes with her everywhere. I love that he is teaching her the alphabet and numbers too! Such a fun toy and great gift! Reading and Lullabies

My mother bought this as a gift for my daughter in 2018. The dog goes everywhere and I need everywhere we are going. He attended daycare, church, you name it. Two years later I have my second child and she is greatly attracted to buddy. As a result I will have to buy one for her. I believe that every child should own a buddy.

My 3 nearly 4 year old loves this puppy.  She loves looking at books with her puppy has he helps her learn to read.  I like that there is also a bedtime story mode and that he lights up to help bedtime be less scary.  So many adorable books also came with him. My toddler looks forward to more books with her puppy. Great toy for our 11 month old. She loves hearing the puppy talk to her. She doesn't understand the books go with what the puppy is saying but I'm sure in time she will. We love all the different modes on this! It reads to you, and the child can read along with the included books. It also has a music mode and nighttime mode, as well as a general education mode. Super cuddly and educational! We love this toy! Cute and Cuddly!

I bought this for a 2 yr old grandson.  He loved it immediately.  He is still too young to fully grasp what all the buttons do and the books are nice but I wonder if they will hold up for a young child.  He will use it as he wishes, but it is a much better toy for a 3  child who can better grasp all of the wonderful features.

It was a hit.

The kids are in love. I have a 8 year old son, a 9 month old god daughter, a 8 year old nephew, a 3 month old nephew and I baby sit a 3 year old. With an age gap like that you wouldn't think there would be one toy for all of them, but Buddy is absolutely perfect. The older two love to "help" Buddy read to the younger kids by holding the books and turning the pages. The babies love that Buddy is soft and snuggly but the fact that he talks makes them giggle and smile ear to ear. It is so funny to see a living room full of toys be ignored so they call all read or listen to buddy read to them. The songs are catchy and they were quickly learned. It is great to see them answering Buddy's questions knowing that if I read the same book and asked the same questions I'd get nothing but blank stares. One stuffed dog and a few books have brought these kids so many hours of fun and giggles. Totally recommend this product it brings great joy

Buddy is an absolutely cute toy. He reads the stories and teaches letters. I love his nighttime mode in which he plays lullabies; however this mode is slightly difficult to start without the story to play ahead of the music. Overall my 9 month old loves this toy. She loves looking at the light that flashes on his collar and her older sisters like to sit with her holding the book so that she can see the pages.

absolutely cute toy

I bought this to read to my daughter. she likes to push alot of buttons and sometimes the same button multiple times. within a month or 2 she has completely broken this toy and there is no way to fix it. he has sat for days and every time u turn it on now he's stuck in the frozen mode making this weird kind of screeching noise. if ur kids like to smash buttons I don't suggest this.

This is the third leapfrog buddy puppy my son received. All were gifts given to him at 3 separate times and all 3 crapped out on him in a very short time, as in just a few months after receiving. It stopped playing songs and telling stories and is no longer used for anything other than a regular stuffed animal. While it was working he loved it and now he is very disappointed it's not working yet again. Very, very disappointing. I do not recommend this at all.
