Giving Back with Huggies Diapers at Walmart

I just found out about a really exciting opportunity to give back to your community. Huggies and Walmart are working together to support local community projects. From April 20th until June 25th, you can share a selfie of you and your baby with the hashtag #UltraHug to nominate a community project you hold dear. Huggies will be featuring these selfies in a collage. On July 6th they will open up voting to choose 10 winners who will each win a $2,000 grant from Huggies for their nominated community initiative.

What community project do you support? If there’s anything in your area that you like, feel free to submit it. If you haven’t yet discovered any local community projects, now is a great time! Is there a park being rehabilitated? A community garden in need of replanting? A community center in need of new equipment? Now’s your chance to make a difference in your community. Just visit the campaign landing page and submit your own #UltraHug selfie to nominate a local community project.

HuggiesI’m so impressed by Huggies and Walmart for planning this initiative. It’s launched to coincide with promotion for Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers. They offer long-lasting leakage protection you can count on, so you can focus on all of your baby’s daily adventures. The range of sizes fit babies from newborn to 35 lbs. Only Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers have a new, unique quilted liner to lock away wetness better. They have a conforming, gap-free fit to keep your active baby dry throughout the day The trusted Leak Lock® System has quick-absorbing layers for up to 12 hours of protection so if you and your baby are spending the day in your newly rehabilitated community park, you don’t have to worry about leaks!

I’m nominating an organization near and dear to my heart. Get PUMPed! provides urgently needed donor breast milk to babies whose parents can’t provide milk for them. I love the mission of this organization. I’ve spent a lot of time volunteering with them since my daughter was born two years ago and I would love to see what they could do with the grant.

Remember, to enter the #UltraHug Selfie Contest just take a selfie of you and your baby and upload that selfie to Twitter or Instagram. Make sure to use the hashtag #UltraHug. Good luck!
